Scope of Work

Common repair scopes

Leak & Water Damage

Roof leaks, plumbing leaks, and the hidden water damage behind them. We find the source, repair it properly, and restore what's affected — not just patch the surface. See roofing.

Dry Rot Repair

Soft, crumbling wood at siding, eaves, decks, or window frames. We remove the rot, treat the cause, and rebuild with sound materials so it stays fixed.

Deck Repair

Loose boards, failing railings, rotted joists, and full deck rebuilds. Structural repair and full rebuilds are covered on the decks page.

Priority Scopes

Roofing and deck scopes

Roofs and decks generate more repair work than anything else we are called about, so each has its own page with the scope, the process and the questions people actually ask.

Roofing

Leak investigation and documented findings, roof repair, dry-rot and roof-deck repair, flashing and drainage interfaces, and reroof or replacement planning. Roofing is managed as part of qualifying general building scopes, with appropriately licensed roofing trade participation coordinated where the scope or applicable licensing requirements call for it.

Decks

New decks, structural repair of posts, beams, joists and ledger connections, dry rot repair, stairs, guards and railings, waterproofing interfaces above living space, and full framing rebuilds. This work sits directly within Class B general building contractor scope.
